Knockdown Drill
Often times, even the best fielders in the game of baseball will boot a ball. A play is not necessarily broken after a booted ball, and this drill is intended to help in those situations.
1) Line the players up at one of the bases.
2) Hit them a ground ball and have them turn the glove over and knock the ball down with the back of their glove.
3) They should then square their feet to their target, barehand the ball and make a strong throw.
