Alligator Drills:

These are some of my favorite drills to do, because although they seem really simple and often "stupid" as I've heard my players call them, they are done all the way up to the professional level.

There are really four sets of these drills you can do:

a. One hand without a glove
b. Two hands without a glove
c. One hand with a glove
d. Two hands without a glove

They are all essentially the same, but you can make variations on them based upon what you want to do (integrate shuffling, etc.).

One Hand:

Whether using a glove or not, the premise is the same, the player should move in front of the ball and "feel it" into their hand or glove. Once it is in, they should snap their hand/glove across their body on a 45 degree angle.

Two Hands:

Exact same thing, except both hands together are now brought on a 45 degree angle.

* The multiple variations on this are what make this drill so useful, as you can adapt it to almost anything you want to teach.
